Hullo there, beautiful viewer.

My name is Rich Tuason and I’m a 25-year old graphic designer, photographer, animal lover (I dream of owning a zoo one day), pig-out-er, and adventurer who is a BFA Information Design major who minored in Theater Arts at the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

I was the Graphic Designer for Capstone Capital Pte. Ltd. (a company in Singapore). I designed materials for brands under them, which include Aspire! Training Network, Citra-Javanese Spa, and Kampong Group. The company also partnered with the Nee Soon GRC party of Singapore for their latest elections.

I was also the Project Design Associate for Island Soul International Corporation. I designed materials for Barefootprint, an e-newsletter. I also designed for several of the brands under them, including SoHo, Chewy Junior, and Barefoot Store.

While at university, I was the Promotions Head for the Ateneo Environmental Management Coalition. I designed for the E-Trike Campaign, Vermicomposting Talk, Energy Conservation Talk, Carpool Campaign, Orientation Seminar 2009, and was one of the event photographers during launches and talks.

I was also the Ateneo Environmental Science Society’s AVP for Promotions where I designed materials for the 2nd General Assembly, Organization board, Recruitment week 2009, and contributed articles to the Berde newsletter.

I am also a member of the Ateneo Celadon, the school’s organization that fosters unity between Filipino and Chinese cultures and communities. I was a volunteer for the Celadon Rose Sale Assembly Team, designed materials for the Rose Sale, and was a facilitator for the 2009 Celadon Amazing Race.

Last but not least, I am a member of Tanghalang Ateneo, the school’s longest-running theater company. I was part of the sounds team for three productions: Metamorphoses, Baha-bahang buhay: Mga Kuwentong Ondoy, and Walang Sugat.

You can find me creeping around coffee or milk tea shops, observing people in-between working and “working”, hanging out with my friends from By Implication, taking long walks around nearby malls, browsing bookshops, or just generally keeping to myself at the homestead. Sometimes I take pictures of my friends and/ or their pets, other times I’m lurking the net, trying to learn something new for free. I also like to sing and eat cake and ice cream. Oh and I like Kylie Minogue, Daft Punk, Britney Spears, Franz Ferdinand, The Black Keys, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs… Yes, my taste in music varies just like my part of the world’s unpredictable weather.  At least it isn’t boring and one-dimensional, I say.
